Eroge

Posted by Otaku Dan

I have never played an Eroge (H-games) I'm my life. However, part of me is interested in playing one. I have notice that H-games are a big part of the otaku culture because it makes some fantasies come true for many otaku. Many H-game titles have received anime adaptations in the past and they have been come very successful series due to the large fan base that was created due to the games. I have heard from friends that these kind of games have multiple endings, some good like for example you getting lucky with the girl you like and some bad like for example Nice Boat( you know what I mean). If you have played an H-game, please recommend me something to play by leaving a comment below.

I havent played a H-game either but i love visual novels, which are like h-games without the eroge parts of course lol, where you pick and choose your characters destiny lol. I've been considering playing Fate/stay nights H-game because well i just want to as you said experience the next level of the Otaku culture. I havent d/l it yet but you can get it here (Value1k on the forums is playing it atm and i got the link from him lol) - http://h3ntai-wat3v3r.blogspot.com/2007/06/fatestay-night.html

@nomad - ehhehe "the next level of otaku culture". lol - I'm still 10 levels behind you! Ooh, though I did go onto irc a couple of times now. Getting there...

@dan - I only learned about Eroge a couple of weeks ago from Nomad. In fact, I have only learned about lolis, moes, hentai, H-games, etc, from her. LOL My eyes have been opened!

btw, love that pic there Dan. LOL
I am certainly interested in playing a H-Game too. You will have to report back here on your findings.

Cheers dude!

Lol I do not like playing eroge, but I heard Beat Blades Haruka and Fortune Arterial is good. I suggest getting Artificial Girl 3, not exactly an eroge either, but it may interest you.

well, I can recommend my first one.. Sagara Family, since it's fairly easy to find, and fairly easy to play ^^
other good ones would be the X-Change series, which are really fun XD
Peach Princess is good if you want to get them legally in the USA

@Jensling-Hey the Sagara Family was my first Eroge. "Lets meow meow" is another great one if you like nekomimi. I've got and played quite a lot of Eroges but....Everything looks so cute, the stories are interesting, and I love the Hentai scenes, but I just suck at the games. To me they seam VERY long, especially if you want to unlock the complete CG set and see all the endings.

I've been wanting to play kana~little sister since I've had the game for 2 years. I think I'll follow a guide when I do play it. I spent 5 hours straight playing the Sagara family but didn't feel like I was getting any closer to the end...I'd like to know how long it takes people to beat them.

I got a bad ending on "Lets meow meow" and it was so depressing I cried. x.x

Just look for a list of hentai games, or browse Hongfire.com and if the cover looks nice, it's worth playing! haha

If you can find it, try playing Sexy Beach 3. It has no story, but the developers focused a great deal in delivering nice 3D ladies and it looks great. If you want something darker in nature, there's always Biko or Rapelay.

Unfortunately if you don't speak japanese, you miss on most great eroge titles with amazing stories. The english licenses fall short on that, besides Bible Black.

You can get around some of the language barrier by using AGTH and ATLAS: http://fhcofbrasil.googlepages.com/AGTHTUTORIAL-INDEX.htm

Also for more game titles check out: http://vndb.org/
