Figma Fever

Back in February, The first Figma figure came out, it was Yuki Nagato from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Part of me did not think it would take off like it did because many people were calling it a Revoltech Fräulein copy. However to my surprise it really took off two months later with Figma Haruhi Suzumiya.

After the release of Figma Haruhi, Max Factory releases at least one Figma figure a month. Most of the figures are pretty female character from popular anime series but with the release of Figma Lelouch, now there are also pretty male characters from popular anime series. I have also have seen that they have been making Figma figures of Japanese Baseball Mascots, which don't sell that well outside of Japan.

I currently own one figma figure and I would like to get more but I have not seen one that I like yet. However, there are two figma figure that I'm sorta interested in, Shana from Shakugan no Shana and a figure that caught me off guard, Jonathan Joestar from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I think people buy Figma figures because they are a lot cheaper in price compared to the still PVC counter part and the owner can change the poses of the figure to whatever they want. Leave a comment below on what you think of Figma figures.
