I bought the Kurosagi corpse delivery service with low expectations and to my surprise it's pretty good. I saw a mention of this manga on TV a few weeks ago and from what I saw, it called my attention and I wanted to try.
The manga is about five students at a Buddhist university that start a business finding dead bodies that the customers ask to locate. The interesting thing is that the customers are those said dead bodies. They pretty much help the dead who are still trapped in their corpses but for a fee. The only way that the dead can become free to move on is if they get the revenge on the one who wrong them or they are transported to a location that they desire.
This manga book design is very different than most. The book is a quarter of an inch shorter and the cover has the texture of cardboard which is pretty cool. In the U.S. the manga is being published by Dark Horse, the same guys that are publishing Hellsing, Berserk, and Gantz manga. This manga is not for the faint of heart there are a lot of gory and graphic scenes and full front female and male nudity. This manga is hard to find in stores but your best bet to get it is over the internet. I recommend this manga for those that want something different and refreshing.
