Nintendo still has power

Yesterday, Nintendo of North America surprised everyone with awesome announcements, including new games and the Nintendo club.

Nintendo will be releasing Sin and Punishment 2 and a sequel for the 1987 game boxing game, Punch out!! for the Wii. Mario & Luigi RPG 3 and the remake of the origanl NES title with new graphics, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for the DS. Talking about the DS, they are going to come out at the end of this year with a revamped version of the DS called the DSi. The new DSi is going to have a .3 megapixel camera, enhanced audio, enhanced wifi, a built in internet browser and an SD slot. You are going to be able to download games from the DS shop from the shop to your DSi. The prices are going range from free to 800 nintendo points.

Nintendo is going to expand their Nintendo club program to North America this holiday season. For those that don't know what it is, you can register your nintendo products and games for points that you can redeem to get various goodies like a replica Super NES controller for the wii, CDs, and other nice stuff like that.

Nintendo is still revolutionizing the gaming market and it seems that they are still ahead in the console race by a long shot. What do you think of this news?
