Christmas Eve

Today is Christmas eve (and on the other side of the world Christmas day), Today is going to be a very busy day for me because of my family's traditional Christmas eve dinner and events. I decided that I'm going to write about my family's Christmas traditions.

It all starts with my little sister waking me up so I can make cookies for her. I make the cookies from scratch which takes me about an hour to make the dough and 10 minutes to bake. After that, I will have breakfast and go bake to bed until my mom turns on the radio and sets it to a station that playing holiday songs all day long which gives me about a 30 to 45 minute nap.

Then my sister bugs me to help her make a gingerbread house but this year I made it with her a few days earlier. I pretty much frost the house and she decorates it.

She is getting better at decorating it, you should have seen last years house, it was a tragedy.

Around 4:00 PM, I start cooking the Christmas ham and the side dishes while my mom, grandma, and sister help. It is interesting that I hate cooking but yet I'm a great cook, it must be irony. Around 7:30 PM, The guests start arriving for the dinner party and by that time I'm done cooking. Then by 11:00 PM all the guests are gone and I go to bed because I'm tired as hell. So, what holiday traditions do you have?
