Fall 09 Anime Season

Posted by Otaku Dan

WOW, only 4 weeks into the 2009 summer anime season and the first version of the fall schedule has been announced. There are a lot of newcomers and a lot of old faces coming back to either please the fans or to be greatly disappointing.

Going to Watch:
Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza
I adored the first season and I'm glad that it's coming back.

Queen's Blade: Heir to the Throne
I must be a glutton for punishment. I'm really doing it for Tomoe, Airi, and Nanael(I like the boobies).

Romance of the Three Kingdoms
I have always wanted to read the original story that so many anime, manga, and video games are based off of.

Kampfer

The plot sounds very interesting.

Everything else does seem interesting like Fairy Tail and Nyan Koi,! but I'll wait for reviews first. So, what are you going to watch this fall season?

P.S. Kararu's post was rescheduled for tomorrow.

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza and Darker than Black 2.

I'm not thinking at all about it as I'm still enjoying the Spring and Summer series.

I have been reading the manga for Fairy Tails and Letter Bee, so I will definitely be catching those when I can.

Like Optic, I cam still finishing up some of the summer series.

Kimi ni Todoke is the only one I'm wanting to see, partly becuase I've been reading the manga. Winter Sonata also looks interesting.

Not many look too interesting, but I'll definitely be watching Kimi ni Todoke.

Also might watch A Certain Scientific Railgun, Tegami Bachi, and Sasameki Koto. Maybe Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Though I'm gonna try and not watch too many because I really need to bring up my grades in school.Watching too many series last year brought my grade down too much for my liking.

Not decided if I'll even watch White Album 2, as I found the first season to be a bore.

Don't punish yourself too much for Queen's Blade. I stopped watching the series and got severely sidetracked due to time constraints. Well, at least you'll be able to relay everything that happened even though you were displeased with the series.

I am surprised and pleased to see Romance of the Three Kingdoms in anime form. I am addicted to playing video games whose entire premise revolve around that era.

Wow...I'm extremely pleased with these announcements! Well I'm mainly happy about Fairy Tail, I started reading the manga a bit and even though it did feel like One Piece except with magic instead of Devil's Fruit and magicians instead of pirates...I enjoyed what was there, but decided I wanted to wait and see it as an anime rather then read the manga more. And now that anime has been made! I'll also be watching Kobato, I read bits of the manga in Newtype and thought it was cute (although admittedly not that exciting). Also...I'm watching Inuyasha...that's RIGHT! I invested soooooo much time and money in that god damn anime series when I first started watching anime..and for what!? A bogus, incomplete, and unsatisfactory ending! I need to see how it ends so my angry teenage self doesn't feel like she was played for a fool anymore. On a whim just now I decided to give Kimi no Todoke a try, it might be good.
