This post is pretty much my thoughts and feelings on the current summer anime season. I will also include anime that is still currently airing from previous seasons and other stuff I'm watching.
Canaan: The action it pretty good but at times it gets a little boring.
Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-Chan!!: I really don't know why I picked this anime up in the middle of the season, maybe it was the fan service.
Fullmetal Alchemist: I liked that it moved fast through the stuff that the fans of the first series already knew and that now it is following closer to the manga.
Hayate no Gotoku!!: At times I forget that I'm watching a comedy anime due to all of the romantic themes that run a muck in this series. The saving grace of this series is that it is funny as the first season.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2: I cried when the endless eight saga was over. At first I thought of the concept of the repeating episodes was interesting but after the fourth run of endless eight, I was at my breaking point.
Haibane Renmei: I picked this older series up to keep me entertained while I wait for the newer stuff to come out. Wow, this is a very great anime and I can tell by the first few episodes.
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0: This is one of the few gems that appeared in the summer season. I just like how realistic this anime is when it comes to human survival. To me, it feels like this generation of Barefoot Gen.
Spice and Wolf 2: Seeing Horo and Lawrence relationship grow is rather interesting. I wonder who's going to make the first move.
Umineko no Naku Koro ni: I actually like the first sage and it makes me wonder how the rest of the series is going to play out.
Zan Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei: It is awesome to the max!!!!
So, what do you think so far on this summer anime season?
