Figure Washing

By now, you all know that I'm a clean freak who hates dust. There is one thing that my trusty duster can't do and that is to remove dust stains. Figures that have any parts made out of rubber get the worst end of the stick. When you touch it, it feels gritty and it loses its color. I wash my figures about every 6 months to give them back their original texture and color.

You can barely see it in picture, but there is some dirt and grime that builds up after time.

You can use any soap but I recommend using liquid dish washing soap. Make sure NOT to use hot or warm water. Cold and room temperature is the best. Use the sponge to lightly scrub the entire figure. If you have a figure that can be disassembled, then the job is easier.

Let your figure air dry. It takes about 8 to 15 minutes depending on the size of the figure.

She is looking so fresh and so clean.

I hope this post helped those who have the same issues when it comes to dust stains. So, do you wash your figures? I would like to know.
