I remember seeing Nendoroid Melissa about a year ago and from the moment I laid my eyes on her, I wanted her. I search high and low for her but she was either sold out or being sold at a very high price. One day during the last Toylet figure sale, I found I figure that I wanted but she was already sold out. I decided to browse around the site for a while and I finally found Nendoroid Melissa in stock. I bought her without thinking twice.

For those who don't know, Melissa originates from the hentai visual novel game, Wagamama Capriccio. she is the princess of Devil Country.

The paint job of this figure is well done. The are small errors but its not that noticeable unless you look for them.

"How dare you take off my pumpkin and expose me in such manner"

"Well, since you were brave enough to do that, I will let you live."

The accessories are only arms and different faces, which is standard for this line of figure but it would have been nice if it brought something extra. There is WonFes version of this figure that does bring a bigger crown and cape but would cost you a pretty penny.

I do recommend this figure due to the cuteness factor but she is hard to find nowadays.

First Thoughts: Queen's Blade: Heir to the Throne

The new fall anime season has started.The first anime to come out is Queen's Blade: Heir to the Throne, the sequel to Queen's Blade: Wandering Warrior. A lot of people, including myself, did not like season 1. Season 1 we pretty much see the character development of Reina and they introduce a new character every episode. It would have been ok if it was a 24 to 52 episode series, but it was only 12 episodes. Lets see how the first episode of season 2 turned out.

We are introduced to Nyx, who was briefly shown in season 1. I don't know much about her but she seems very shy, how cute.

Seconds after seeing her, she is molested by her own weapon. Well, it ain't Queen's Blade if someone doesn't get tentacle raped.

Melona gets the idea of assassinating Queen Aldra.............................

but fails and gets trapped in a crystal.

Other than seeing the character from season 1 settling into the city of Gainos and the speculations of Queen Aldra being evil, nothing happens. I personally feel that Queen's Blade should have been a 24 episode series instead of dividing it into two seasons. I'm hoping that the story actually gets up and running.

PhotoShop Rocks!

A few days ago, I was surfing around Tsuki-board and I discovered a how to fix pictures on Photoshop. For a long time I have wanted Photoshop but it is too expensive. I managed to get a copy of Photoshop CS3 because a friend of mine was using CS4 and he doesn't need CS3 anymore.

The original is on the right and the shopped is on the left.

At the moment, I'm just playing around with it and I'm liking it a lot. I did try fixing pictures with colored backgrounds but for some reason the colors washout. It seems that it only white backgrounds work. I should one day pick up Photoshop CS3 for Dummies book. So, do you use Photoshop and what do you use it for?

I'm feeling really lazy today and I have another C++ project due in a few days. I probably won't have the time to make a post for the next couple of days. However, I do have a figure photo shoot coming up in a few days, but I need to fix it up first. I remember making a saber gallery post and I think it is about time to post a Rin Tousaka gallery.
