I have been needing a new cellphone for the last 2 months. My old phone had a lot software issues and that could not be fixed. I contacted T-Mobile if they could just replace my phone but, the model of my old phone was discontinued. So, I upgraded to a brand new smartphone.
I decided to get the Nokia 5230. I went with this phone because I like Nokia and I like the design. This phone comes with data cable, 4 GB mini SD card, and hands-free headset. This is a full touch screen phone, which is nice. I do have one problem with this phone, when its plugged to a computer via the data cable, it does not charge the battery. There is an online app store However when compared to Apple's, is sucks. At least the Twitter and Youtube apps are free.
I recommend this phone as an entry level smartphone. If you already own one and you are looking for a new one, skip this phone.

This is post is an update on the Fall 2010 anime season chart. The last post I made had the chart in Japanese. Many people(including me) did not like that chart because they could not understand the language. After some time has pasted, the chart has been translated into English.
I recently got Mari Illustrious Makinami -Plug Suit Version- by Kotobukiya for free. The reason why I got her for free, because I'm awesome that way. I'm really happy with this figure, she is well made and there's no visible seam lines. The interesting thing about this figure is that the PVC for the hair is much softer than the previous two figures. I hope you enjoy this figure photo shoot.

Well, I decided that since I'm taking at least one picture a day, may as well post them. This will be a weekly post that will include some of my thoughts and ideas.

We have reached the middle of August and you know what that means, more figures are up for preorder. These new figures are really nice and you should come on in and check them out.

Well, in my process to making a post every single day, I'm making it a habit by taking one picture a day. By doing this, it felt therapeutic in a way because each picture reminds me of an event or how I was feeling at the time. Part of me wants to make this into to a weekly post but, I'm afraid of making it feel like work. So, I hope you enjoy these pictures.

Urusei Yatsura was created by world famous magaka Rumiko Takahashi. The manga ran from 1978 to 1987 with 34 volumes released. It spawned a 195 episode series and countless number of movies and OVAs.
One day, aliens from the planet Oni appear on Earth with the intent of global domination. Instead of just taking over Earth, the invaders give the human race a chance to fight back with a simple game of tag. The rules are simple, it is a one on one game of tag where the chosen human player must touch the horns on the chosen oni player within one week. Earth's chosen one is Ataru Moroboshi, perverted high school student, and for the oni side is Lum. To sum up what happens, Ataru steals Lum's bikini top and touches her horns to save Earth. However, a misunderstanding accords and now Lum thinks that she will marry Ataru and even moved in with him, and that's where the real adventure begins.
Urusei Yatsura is a very influential series for it time. Back in the late 70s and 80s, Lum was considered to the original otaku dream girl and also the original of tsundere. The musician Matthew Sweet featured clips of Lum in his music video "I've Been Waiting". Even nowadays, there anime series that are an homage to Urusei Yatsura, like To Love-Ru for example.
I highly recommend anyone to check out either the manga or anime. For those who have seen anime and/or read the manga, what are your opinions on Urusei Yatsura?

This post is going to be about me writing about the direction I want to take my blog and my future.
For those who have not been following me for long, I would make a post every single day. That all stopped because real life happened. I even use to have the free time to read and comment on every single blog on my blog roll. As of right now, I'm starting to get into the habit of being an active blogger just like I use to be.
As for the License This and Kicking it Old School post, I feel terrible that I had to put those on hiatus for the time being. License This is a tricky post to make, There have been times that I had the post completed and really to be posted. However, it has to scrapped because every single anime or manga in said post was just announced that it got licensed, there for making my post useless. Kicking it Old School is a little hard to make, because I have to think of anime series that would catch the attention on anime fans who are not interested in the older stuff. New posts will make a return soon.
Now, as for the Dissecting Fandom posts, it is not on hiatus. At least once a day, I get an email asking when the next post is coming. Those posts take a lot of time to make because the amount of research and analyzing I have to do.
There is something that I want to do, I want to go pro as a blogger. I know it sounds a little silly but I think I could do it. Its going to take a lot of time and work but in the end, it will be worth it. The one disadvantage that I have is that I'm only one person and I don't have a staff, but that should not stop me.

During my trip to the city of Miami, I had some free time to visit some old friends. It was pretty fun just like the good old days. Well, one of my friends gave me a Dreamcast because, he has too many of them at the moment.
The Dreamcast is like wine, the older it is, the better it gets. Back in the day, the Dreamcast was added of its time. It was the first home video game system that has online gaming, it has a fantastic library of games, and amazing graphics. It is sad that due to piracy and bad decision making from Sega, the system had a short life span.
If you have any Dreamcast games that you would like to recommend for me to play, just tell me in a comment below.
